All Stars Coach Wayne Carey looking for every inch of advantage in the E.J. Whitten Legends Game
All Stars Coach Wayne Carey has turned to Hollywood for inspiration ahead of his coaching role in the E.J. Whitten Legends Game.
Carey, a dual Premiership Captain and 7 time All-Australian has been warned by All Star Captain Luke Darcy to “dial-back” the intensity ahead of this Friday’s game at Etihad Stadium. But Carey’s ‘Shinboner’ Spirit has taken over, and he has been drawing on the performance of Hollywood legend Al Pacino in “Any Given Sunday” to assist him in delivering his motivational orations to his All Stars team.
North Melbourne has produced a long line of motivational coaches including Barrassi, Kennedy, Blight and Pagan.
